Rules and Policies
If you are under nineteen years of age, you must have signed permission to leave a session early.
If you are nineteen years old or older, you must have a written excuse to leave a session early.
Students will sit every other seat unless student numbers makes that impossible.
Hats are not allowed to be worn in the school.
The use of cell phones and texting during class time is not allowed. Such behavior may result in the phone being taken until the end of the session or removal from the school.
Students will be respectful of others in the classroom.
Students are required to have 15 hours of academic work every week. Failure to accomplish this responsibility could lead to truancy.
Students may listen to music by using a MP3 player or CD. Students must provide their own headset. If for any reason the listening to music causes any classroom distractions, the student will relinquish this privilege for the rest of the session.
Students may be allowed one 10-minute break during each session. Failure to return on time will result in the loss of future break privileges.
Students who arrive late for a session will forfeit their 10-minute break.
Food and drink are allowed in the classroom. However, if a clean work area is not maintained the privilege will be lost.
Yellow NovaNet sheets must be filled out and handed in for each completed module.
