Eagle Learning Center is offering trainings on Forklift operation and Basic Construction starting May 2 and ending May 27. Classes will be held Monday through Friday. Participants who complete either the Construction or Forklift class will become First Aid, CPR and AED certified. Likewise, participants of both classes will earn an OSHA certification. Those who complete the forklift class will earn a forklift license. (Please note: You must be at least 18 years of age during the 2010 - 2011 school year to participate in the forklift class.) The basic construction class will review framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, etc. Classes will be taught by the staff of Oregon Career and Technology Center. Any full-time Eagle Learning Center student that is interested in attending either or both classes must contact Mrs. Jones by Friday, April 15.
